Department of Mechanical Engineering
What Comes to Mind When You Read the Word gMachineh?

@The word gmachineh is very broad in definition, perhaps infinitely so. Even those machines nearest to us, such as clocks, cameras, refrigerators, cars and airplanes, are products made by the hands of mechanical engineers in factories. Cutting-edge technology such as rockets and robots as well as those involve technology concerned with the human body, such as the development of artificial hearts and prosthetic joints, are also the work of mechanical engineers.
@When building new machines, it is the duty of a mechanical engineer to draft and design a plan, produce it and then manage the products as well.

Admission Policy

@The Department of Mechanical Engineering covers a broad range of studies of a variety of manufacturing processes such as cars, robots and electronic devices. For this reason, it looks for the following types of people to enroll:
Those with an interest in the development and application of energy, materials and information, who wish to challenge themselves
Those with an interest in manufacturing and its mechanisms and who wish to study them in-depth
Those with an ambitious spirit, who wish to contribute to a rich life that harmonizes man with nature

What Will I Learn at the Department of Mechanical Engineering?

@Students begin by carefully studying one basic principle at a time and accumulating them as they advance through the course. They will learn advanced content by adapting to a flow of using the knowledge they have acquired to design a machine, give the machine shape in the form of a design plan, and process materials according to that design to create a new machine. In order to further establish the content taught, emphasis is also given to practical experiments and hands-on training. Graduation research involves performing research under the guidance of staff one year before venturing out into society, summarizing the results as a graduation thesis and subsequent publication.
